Like most other house plants, they also help to clean the air that we breathe in our homes – which in turn has a positive impact on our mood, stress levels and productivity. Having one of these delightful little plants next to us throughout the day will help us in so many different ways.
Light:
Snake plants can tolerate low light, but they will thrive in brighter, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves.
Watering:
Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is the biggest risk to snake plants.

Soil:
Use a well-draining potting mix to prevent root rot. A mix of succulent and cactus soil can be a good choice.
Humidity:
Snake plants do not require high humidity and can thrive in average household humidity.
Temperature:
They prefer temperatures between 60°F and 80°F (15°C – 27°C) and can tolerate lower temperatures.
Fertilizing:
Feed with a generic houseplant fertilizer a few times during the growing season (spring and summer).
Cleaning:
Wipe the leaves occasionally with a damp cloth to remove dust and help with photosynthesis.

Repotting:
Repot in spring if needed, using a well-draining potting mix.
